Meals on Wheels of Johnson County
To respond to the growing needs of seniors in Johnson County, Horizons, A Family Service Alliance and Elder Services Inc. (ESI) officially merged in 2019 to create Meals on Wheels of Johnson County.
There is a particularly large and growing demand for Meals on Wheels in Johnson County, and we rely on donations and our volunteers to end senior hunger and isolation and keep people in their homes.

Volunteer Voices
Dana Dinderman has volunteered with Horizons since 2020, finding fulfillment along her route as she delivers meals on a weekly basis.
“They are not just clients I deliver to, but friends, adopted grandparents and parents, and people that have become so important to me. My heart is full after delivering meals each week.”
