The Billing Specialist position is responsible for completing various day-to-day operations within the finance department.


  1. Scanning records and financial information into QuickBooks.

  2. Record deposit income for all accounts and maintain proper records pertaining to each account.

  3. Keep accounts receivable current.

  4. Financial tracking and claims submission for grants in a timely manner.

  5. Insure compliance with criteria of grant contracts.

  6. Waiver Billings to MOW/MHW and posting invoices.

  7. Complete journal entries on a monthly basis for processing financial statements.

  8. Complete ESI payment postings.

  9. MTM Billing.

  10. Prepare reports as requested by Controller.

The Billing Specialist position prefers a B.A. Accounting degree or a minimum of a high school diploma and two years relevant accounting experience.


The Billing Specialist will meet with the Controller on a regular basis.


Must be able to use a calculator and computer, including software of Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks.  Must possess the ability to maintain a positive consistent attitude in working with staff and clients, including holding the belief that people have the capacity to grow and change.
