Family Outreach

Family Support
Family Support provides services to at-risk children and their parents that help improve and stabilize their housing, childcare and employment situations as well as enhance their parenting and other primary life skills.

Survivor’s Program

The survivor’s of homicide victims program supports and advocates for individuals who have lost a family member or friend through homicide or vehicular homicide.  With each survivor we encounter, we strive to provide immediate to long-term support, enhance coping skills, empower victims to regain control over their lives, share information and facilitate the use of appropriate resources, and make referrals whenever appropriate to lessen any secondary trauma.  We collaborate with professionals who deal with victims of violent crime, and expand their knowledge-base regarding the needs and rights of victims.

Early ACCESS
Have you ever had concerns about your child’s development? Does your child have any existing health or medical conditions, including prematurity or life changing conditions such as foster care, drug or lead exposure?

Early ACCESS is Iowa’s early intervention home program for infants, toddlers, and their families. To be eligible for Early ACCESS, your child must be under 3 years of age, have a health or physical condition that affects his or her growth and development, or have a delay in his or her ability to play, hear, see, talk, or move. There are many services and resources to help your child and family.

To make a referral for your child, call (319) 399-6746 or toll free at 1-888-425-4371.

Each child referred to Early ACCESS is assigned a Service Coordinator who will contact you, help guide you through the evaluation process, and assist in coordinating needed services for your child and family.
